Elphinstone Reef

Arguably the most famous dive site in the southern Red Sea. This cigar-shaped offshore reef features sheer walls covered in vibrant soft corals and giant gorgonian fans. A thrilling drift dive with frequent pelagic encounters — oceanic whitetips, hammerheads and barracuda.

Marsa Mubarak

A sheltered bay north of Port Ghalib with dense seagrass beds — a vital feeding ground for large green sea turtles and the occasional dugong. Calm, clear water and a coral-garden reef make it ideal for beginners, photographers and long, relaxed dives.

Abu Dabbab

One of Marsa Alam's most famous shore dives, renowned for its seagrass meadows. One of the few places in the world with a high chance of encountering the rare dugong, alongside friendly green sea turtles and colorful macro life on the fringing reefs.

Dolphin House (Sha'ab Samadai)

A horseshoe-shaped reef and protected marine park that is home to a resident pod of spinner dolphins. Beyond the lagoon, the outer reef offers shallow caves, swim-throughs and hard-coral gardens full of turtles and reef fish.
