Blue Vision Diving Hotel in Marsa Alam, Red Sea
Experience another world under the sea
Welcome to Blue Vision Diving Hotel
Founded in 2006, Blue Vision Diving Hotel was established by a team of professionals associated with PADI. We have had the privilege to share our joy of the underwater world while certifying more than 2,000 divers from all over the world.
We are proud to be associated with the most recognised online accommodation services across the globe, including Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb. While we may not claim the title of the ‘Best Diving Center’ in Marsa Alam, we pride ourselves on our diving expertise and knowledge of this area.
Located just a 15-minute walk from the Red Sea coastline and 3km from the main jetty we have fantastic access to the region’s diving. We do this in association with Emperor Divers – a world-renowned company who have over 30 years’ experience of providing the very best diving experiences in Egypt and beyond.
We can offer the very best services available. Whether you are a certified diver or have never been in the water before, we have multiple packages that include accommodation, day diving, PADI courses, excursions and so much more.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Marsa Alam so we can show you some of the greatest diving in the world.
Beyond diving, the hotel boasts a range of amenities designed to ensure a comfortable and pleasurable stay. There are well-appointed single, double and family rooms, a superbly-equipped gym, relaxation areas, a swimming pool, excellent dining options and, of course, our famous friendly and attentive service.

Best place to stay in marsa alam.
The host is extremely kind, we have six fun dives with him, the animal we saw is pretty good!! We say big turtles... read more and he is super patient to us. The hotel is as good as it in pictures, the swimming pool is accessible but it is cold recent days.
We recommend him as your dive guide. He knows a lot!

While... read more booking via email, I noticed the personal and friendly approach with which Mohamed communicates. Hotel: During the stay he continuously informs whether everything is o.k. and whether he can still mean something to us. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is authentic Egyptian, was always adequate, tasty and well taken care of. If you have any ideas or wishes in terms of menu, ask, and they really try to meet your wishes. The rooms are fine, nothing to complain about. When you come back from diving in the afternoon, it is good to stay and rest around the well-maintained and clean swimming pool. There is also shade, so you don't have to fry in the hot sun. And with a 1/2liter nice cold Stella Beer, you can keep it up there. Diving: Mohamed also organizes everything around diving himself and is, due to his years of experience, a perfect guide. There is also only diving in small groups. Because it was quiet at this time, at the end of September, in terms of divers, we were usually just the two of us (ideal). Usually diving is done from the shore, there are several beautiful dive sites in the region at a short distance, where there is really a lot to see of fish,... On request, Mohammed can and wants to arrange everything, if you want to go further, other or specific places.
The city of Marsa Alam:
There are many buildings here that are still under construction. Due to the "Arab Spring" and the Corona years, a lot has come to a standstill, so that it looks like a construction site locally. But gradually it starts to pick up again and the work is picked up again. You can enter the city-center where there are various restaurants, shops, cafes, supermarkets, spice shops etc., so you can also get in touch with the local people and their daily lives.
Fortunately, as far as the crowds on the streets are concerned, it is far from comparable to the mass tourism and intrusive vendor shouting as in other cities.
In short: We prefer such a local hotel, run by a hard working friendly Egyptian and his people, far out over one of the resorts, which are springing up like mushrooms all along the coast and in which you have the feeling of being in a camp in the desert, and where you often dive in too large groups. My girlfriend and I have already decided to return to this place within a few years, partly because we have not yet encountered the beautiful dugong under water.
Mohammed and staff thank you, and see you soon!!

September 25, 2023Stephen EI’ve only just signed up with trip advisor and therefore do not have any other “posts” I’ve been diving in Egypt for about 30 years now and have stayed in... read more many hotels mostly of the larger groups (Hilton / Renaissance) then about ten years ago we discovered Blue Vision and have stayed there now many times It is ideal for small groups of divers to stay and dive with Mohamed he specialises taking his guests to the many local shore based dive sites or boat diving can be arranged if preferred. We were there last month for three weeks and saw him take two non divers through the Padi open water course after which I dived with one of the newly qualified divers - her buoyancy control was perfect over the 60 plus minute dive if I hadn’t known better I’d have thought she had been diving for years. Blue Vision has large clean comfortable air conditioned rooms. It has its own restaurant and you don’t have to rush to find a sun bed around the pool. Marsa Alam town is slowly expanding, it is more authentic local Egypt than Hurghada or Sharm with many small local coffee shops and restaurants. Mohamed or his sister will arrange airport taxis for you we’ve always found the taxi service to be reliable and it takes about 40 minutes. So that’s it for my first post I hope it has been helpful Regards... I’ve only just signed up with trip advisor and therefore do not have any other “posts”
