  I’ve only just signed up with trip advisor and therefore do not have any other “posts” I’ve been diving in Egypt for about 30 years now and have stayed in... read more many hotels mostly of the larger groups (Hilton / Renaissance) then about ten years ago we discovered Blue Vision and have stayed there now many times It is ideal for small groups of divers to stay and dive with Mohamed he specialises taking his guests to the many local shore based dive sites or boat diving can be arranged if preferred. We were there last month for three weeks and saw him take two non divers through the Padi open water course after which I dived with one of the newly qualified divers - her buoyancy control was perfect over the 60 plus minute dive if I hadn’t known better I’d have thought she had been diving for years. Blue Vision has large clean comfortable air conditioned rooms. It has its own restaurant and you don’t have to rush to find a sun bed around the pool. Marsa Alam town is slowly expanding, it is more authentic local Egypt than Hurghada or Sharm with many small local coffee shops and restaurants. Mohamed or his sister will arrange airport taxis for you we’ve always found the taxi service to be reliable and it takes about 40 minutes. The hotel had everything we needed, the room was clean and the... read more hotel staff was always kind, helpful and answering all our questions. The hotel owner Mohamed was really trying to make our experience in Marsa Alam unforgettable. The food in the hotel's restaurant was also the best we had in Egypt.

I also did Open Water Diver course and following it Advanced Open Diver with Mohamed and it just started my love with diving.

  Great place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. Good communication with Mohamed (the owner) prior to arrival, he arranged for a driver to collect us... read more from the Airport and take us to the hotel. If there is anything at all that you need he will arrange it for you, nothing is too much trouble for him. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, with the option to dine there in the evening as well if you don’t want to venture out. There is a well equipped gym on site and a lovely swimming pool, with adequate sun-beds - No need to get up early to put your towels out. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious.

Marsa town is a typical Egyptian town, not on the scale of the larger tourist areas. No hassle from the local shop owners to go and spend money in their shops.

All in all a very relaxing holiday and we hope to return again soon.
